Merchaid

Merchaid is an R/GA let initiative to help small businesses in New York City (and later Austin and Los Angeles) bring in an income during the Covid-19 lockdown. Small businesses teamed up with local artists to create merchandise with all the proceeds going to the small business. We used the Shopify api to handle inventory and transactions and Contentful as a CMS for all site content. Gatsby.js (React) was used as the frontend of choice to bring everything to life. My role included frontend development for various components as well as content management.
