Marie Claire Jewelry Digital Catalog Microsite

MarieClaireJewelry.com was a digital catalog website build with BackboneJS. My role as the principle developer was to take the creative elements from the designers and merchandisers and build a site utilizing HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The data for the website was curated from a Google Doc spreadsheet that was converted into a JSON file via a custom Google Apps Script that could be ingested by BackboneJS to create the various views for each item. Each jewelry item view was displayed as a modal window that could be hotlinked from the url. A search field along the top of the site altered the content for any word present in the data file.
