Google 25 Years in Search

For Google's 25th anniversary Instrument was tasked with creating a site that celebrates the accomplishment by looking at what search terms were popular over various categories in different regions of the world. The initial development of the site revolved around using NextJS and Typescript as a frontend along with a Django(Wagtail) backend. Midway through the project Google's security team informed us that the initial solution wasn't secure enough (from a frontend perspective) so we forewent NextJS in favor of vanilla Javascript component classes. My role revolved around building out various components of the UI (both the initial and reworked versions).
